Personal Support, Information and Advice

Glasgow Metropolitan College provides prospective and current students with appropriate support and guidance before, during and even after the student has left the course where we can continue to support job search and career options. 

Student Services

Student Services covers a range of support services including:

  • Admissions and Funding
  • Personal support and guidance (Student Advisory Service).
  • Careers information and guidance (Careers Advisory Service).

Careers Advisory Service  - for help with what course to choose, career options, making an application, preparing for interviews, looking for part time work while at College and gaining work experience.  Check out our Help me choose search facility. 

How to Apply  - for help with what courses are available, entry requirements, application progress and general enquiries.

Finance and Funding - for help with what funding is available, form filling workshops, help with childcare, how payments are made and attendance requirements follow.

Student Advisory Service  - for help with student loans, personal or health issues, hardship funds, assistance for international students, asylum seekers and refugees and more information.

Support for Learning  -  provides extra help for people with a disability or learning difficulty in addition to that provided by the course tutor.
