Art and Design Portfolio Preparation

Description

One year course at North Hanover Street Campus

The course is designed to provide an opportunity to prepare an art and design portfolio by developing visual awareness, drawing skills and creativity, which will allow the student to apply for Art and Design courses. During the course students will undertake 6 SQA units, including Analytical Drawing, Figure and Life Drawing, Colour, Mixed Media, Line and Tone and The Design Process.

Students should expect to spend approximately £60 on course materials.

To apply for a part-time course you should fill out an application form and return to the address shown on the form. If you’ve accepted a definite offer of a place, Student Services will provide you with joining instructions giving details on when and where to enrol.

It is important that you complete the application form as accurately and clearly as possible. You may also wish to include additional information to support your application.

Applications are welcomed throughout the year. However, the earlier you apply the better your chance of a place on the course of your choice.
