Apply Information

It is important that you complete the application form as accurately and clearly as possible. You may also wish to include additional information to support your application.
Your completed application form will be passed to a course tutor who will consider your application and you may be asked to attend an interview.
If you are successful you will be made a formal offer of a place. An unconditional offer means that you fulfil all the immediate course entry requirements and have been accepted. A conditional offer means that you must obtain certain qualifications or examination grades before you are accepted. Guidance on how to accept or decline a place is contained in the offer letter.
If you decide to withdraw your application or if you are accepted on to more than one course, please inform the Student Services Section immediately. This will enable us to offer the places held open for you to other applicants.
Applicants who are unsuccessful will be given the opportunity to consider other options available to them and, if required, to seek advice from Student Services Staff.
If you have any questions about how to apply or wish to check on the progress of your application please contact the Student Services Section on 0141 566 6224 or email studentservices@glasgowmet.ac.uk
Applications are welcomed throughout the year. However, the earlier you apply the better your chance of a place on the course of your choice.
You may want some guidance before applying for a place on a College course. Help and support is freely available by contacting the College’s Student Services Section.
For entry onto some of our full time courses students should provide a portfolio which includes recent work relevant to their choice of course Portfolio Guidance Notes
