Access 2 Work and Study-related Contexts F1AE 08.

The course covers:

  • Complete forms giving basic information in English
  • Simple conversations about work and study
  • Listening to and reading English in general situations
  • Grammar and vocabulary
  • Pronunciation
  • Citizenship
  • Scottish culture

You will be able to:

  • Complete forms in English
  • Take part in conversations about work and study
  • Listen to and read English in general situations

Your teachers encourage you to talk to students who speak a different language. This helps you use your English. You have an assessment at the end of each course book unit. There is also an assessment at the end of the SQA unit. You have homework 3 times every week.

Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress to ESOL Access 3 and Citizenship level.

Dates

Monday - Friday (5 days) 9am - 12.15pm or 1.15pm - 4.30pm
31st Aug 09 - 18th June 10

To apply for a part-time course you should fill out an application form and return to the address shown on the form. If you’ve accepted a definite offer of a place, Student Services will provide you with joining instructions giving details on when and where to enrol.
