The Adult Literacy and Numeracy (ALN) department at the college helps non-advanced students with their reading, writing and number skills.
Support is available for:
- Intermediate 2 Professional Cookery;
- Construction ESF courses;
- ICT ESF course.
We can help in these ways:
- In-class support – ALN staff work with all students in the class who need help with their reading, writing and number skills.
- Support is linked to your subject.
- Staff are friendly and approachable.
- Arrange additional support through Extended Learning Support Department.
- All non-advanced students have a chance to talk to a member of ALN staff about their needs.
- Help with simplifying course material
- 'How to…” guides available.
- Basic Numeracy Packs available
ALN support is available at North Hanover St, Cathedral St, and Rogart St campuses.
