European Projects

Cookery students at City of Glasgow College

The City of Glasgow College has been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education for the Erasmus+ programme 2014-2021. Our Erasmus Policy Statement sets out our institutional strategy in relation to the Charter.

City of Glasgow College has long established relationships with partners across the European Union (EU) and has participated in funded projects since 1994. These projects support students and staff, provide an opportunity to share best practice and help the college realise its goals around internationalisation.

The EU provides a rich cultural, social and educational environment for colleges to work with like-minded institutions and business partners and to facilitate the exchange of ideas between students and staff. In a highly competitive global marketplace, the EU also provides a vast resource of knowledge and skills.

City of Glasgow College are currently involved in a range of EU-funded projects, the majority of which are funded under the Erasmus Plus Programme.
